Personal data processed by the VVCS
The VVCS processes the personal data of its members, hereinafter referred to as the members and/or you, because the members use our services and/or because the members provide these to us themselves. Below you will find an overview of the personal data we actually process:
– First and last name;
– Gender;
– Date of birth;
– Place of birth;
– Address details;
– Telephone number;
– E-mail address;
– Bank account number.

For what purpose and on what basis the VVCS processes personal data
The VVCS processes your personal data for the following purposes:
-membership administration;
-providing information to and advising its members.

Automated decision-making
The VVCS does not make decisions about matters that could (significantly) affect individuals on the basis of automated processing. These are decisions made by computer programmes or systems, without involving a human being (e.g. an employee of the VVCS).

The VVCS uses the following computer programmes or systems
The VVCS has itself developed a computer programme for its member administration. Furthermore, the VVCS uses the software package Clang.

How long does the VVCS keep personal data referred to
The VVCS retains your personal data for the period of your membership and active career respectively and a period of two years thereafter.

Sharing personal data with third parties
The VVCS only provides these data to third parties if and to the extent necessary and required to fulfil its obligations towards you, as well as if necessary to comply with any legal obligation.

Cookies, or similar techniques
The VVCS does not use cookies or similar techniques.

View, amend or delete data
You have the right to view, correct and/or delete (or have deleted) your personal data. In addition, you have the right to withdraw your possible consent to data processing or object to the processing of your personal data by the VVCS and you have the right to data portability. This means you can submit a request to the VVCS to send the personal data we hold about you in a computer file to you or another organisation named by you. You can send a request to inspect, correct, delete, transfer your personal data or request the revocation of your consent or objection to the processing of your personal data to info@vvcs.nl.

To ensure that the request for inspection is made by you, we ask you to send a copy of your proof of identity with the request. In this copy, black out your passport photo, (machine readable zone, the strip of numbers at the bottom of the passport), passport number and Citizen Service Number (BSN). This is to protect your privacy. We will respond to your request as soon as possible, but within four weeks. The VVCS would also like to inform you that you have the option to file a complaint with the national regulator, the Authority for Personal Data. How we secure personal data
The VVCS takes the protection of your data seriously and takes appropriate measures to counter abuse, loss, unauthorised access, unwanted disclosure and unauthorised modification.
