Collective interest representation

The VVCS represents the players’ interests in the collective agreement negotiations. The current CLA runs until 30 June 2027.

VVCS runs the secretariat of the Central Players Council (CSR), a body of the KNVB. The VVCS holds regular consultations with the board of professional football KNVB, Eredivisie CV, CED and FBO. The VVCS nominates two members of the Supervisory Board of the Contract Players Fund KNVB (CFK). Although the VVCS focuses primarily on the interests of its members, many clubs also call on the expertise of the VVCS. The VVCS has a permanent seat on the FIFPro board. Regularly, player groups and/or player councils are assisted by the VVCS in their negotiations with the club on collective contracts and/or premium negotiations.
