Soccer Performance Specialist (package)

Do you dream of a job as a Performance Coach in professional soccer?

The most extensive KNVB accredited package, Soccer Performance Specialist, is provided by specialists with experience at the highest level. This unique program offers excellent opportunities to realize your dream at home or abroad.

The Soccer Performance Specialist package consists of the following KNVB accredited courses:

• Conditioning Coach Football Fundamentals (on demand)
• Recovery Coach Football Fundamentals (on demand)
• 2 Day Conditioning Football Coach Course
• 2 Day Recovery Coach Football Course
• Periodization Soccer (on demand + live online)
• Soccer Performance Specialist (approx. 10 months) *.

To be admitted to the exclusive Soccer Performance Specialist course (level 3) you must have completed all other parts of this package (level 1 and 2) before the 1st day of classes starting Aug. 2025 in Utrecht and Zwolle.

You have 24 months to complete the package and can take the “on demand” courses whenever and wherever you want.

* The Soccer Performance Specialist course consists of 10 meetings (incl. exam day) of approx. 4 hours taught by various (guest) teachers with experience at the highest level including:

• Colin de Graaf (Head of Performance 1st team FC Twente)
• Errol Esajas (running coach of Cody Gakpo and Denzel Dumfries, among others)
• Sjors Ultee (former head coach of Fortuna Sittard and sc Cambuur, among others)
• Bram van de Vinne (motion scientist FC Eindhoven)
• Sven Verstappen (performance coach NEC Nijmegen)
• Peter Eppinga (former head of performance FC Emmen)
• Suzanne Herpel (sports physiotherapist PEC Zwolle)
• Maarten de Waart (former sport physiotherapist PEC Zwolle)
• Paul van Zwam (former sports psychologist for AJAX, Feyenoord and Chelsea, among others)

In addition, course leader Jelmer Siemons (former performance coach sc Heerenveen) will guide and support you throughout the training and internship* online and through 1 on 1 sessions where necessary. For each student a personal trajectory will be drawn up in advance, which is in line with the already present knowledge and experience.

*Linked to this training is an internship of at least 80 hours (about 2 hours per week) at a Professional Soccer Organization. At this moment we have interns at e.g. FC Utrecht, Willem 2, Volendam, Fortuna Sittard, Telstar, KHC Genk, Go Ahead Eagles, Excelsior, VVV, FC Emmen and ADO Den Haag.
